Mechanical protection function :This function is applied to the current input socket to avoid improper operations. The “mA” or “10A” socket opens only when the function / power switch is set at the current test position in case the wrong test lead is inserted.
LCD Backlight: the LCD backlight is for your test convenience when the environment light is dim. But when backlight is on, the accuracy might be affected. It is not suggested to have the backlight on when doing an accurate measure.
