1. Overview
The SDI TX-RX series HD-SDI repeater is a high-definition SDI
repeater that extends the transmission distance. It supports all
SDI formats, such as SMPTE-292M (1.485 Gb/s, 1.485/1.001 Gbps), and
all the SDI TX-RX series HD-SDI repeaters are equipped with SDI
line equalizers, RECLOCK and line drivers. It complies with all
SMPTE standards and meets the standards for broadcast television
transmission.
The SDI TX-RX series HD-SDI repeater, this powerful repeater also
includes two world-leading POC (power on cable) and DOC (data on
cable) technologies, which can simultaneously provide 1.485G HD
high-definition images and remote power supply and remote control
via line on a 75-ohm BNC cable.
The SDI TX-RX series HD-SDI repeater can connect HD CCTV and RS485
control data and extend it up to 1 kilometer away through cable
power supply and data on cable. Using a single coaxial cable to
control the camera, each repeater segment distance can reach up to
200 meters (Belden 1694A). All repeaters do not require separate
power supply, and the front-end cameras also do not need to be
separately wired with RS485 or other control cables.
2. Characteristics
It supports video formats of standard definition SDI (270 Mbps),
high definition HD-SDI (1.485 Gbps), and full high definition
3G-SDI (2.97 Gbps).

Unique characteristics
The power supply is provided to all other repeaters at the front
end from the monitoring room end (DVR side) via coaxial cables
using the POC (power on cable) technology.
At the same time, a 5M bandwidth data channel traveling in the
opposite direction was debugged onto the video cable using the DOC
(data on cable) technology. The control signal (RS485) could
control the front-end cameras from the monitoring room end through
the coaxial cable.
3. Installation
The SDITX-RX series HD-SDI repeaters can transmit HD-SDI signals up
to 500 meters in each repeater segment (this depends on the quality
of the cables).
The repeater of the DVR (monitoring room end) connects the power
supply and the RS485 control channel input.
