Extreme Hardness & Wear Resistance SiC is one of the hardest materials in the world, second only to diamond and CBN. This gives it super resistance to abrasive wear, resulting in a service life far exceeding that of tool steel, stainless steel, and other metals.
Excellent Chemical Corrosion Resistance
Resists corrosion from most strong acids (e.g., hydrochloric, sulfuric, nitric), strong alkalis, and oxidizers. It remains stable even in aqua regia. Its chemical stability is much higher than that of stainless steel.
High Stiffness & Low Density
High elastic modulus means minimal bending deformation under load, maintaining extremely high rotational accuracy.
