Uni axial:
A force acting in a single direction.
Uniaxial geogrids: Provide strength in one primary direction, often
along the length of the roll.
Uniaxial testing: Used to determine the strength of a material in
one direction.
Bi axial:
Forces acting in two perpendicular directions.
Biaxial geogrids: Offer strength in both the longitudinal and
transverse directions.
Biaxial stress: A state of stress where two normal stresses are
present.
