Product Description:
The Phenolic Epoxy class fiber laminate 3240 is an electrical
purposed alkali-free reinforced laminate bonded with phenolic epoxy
resin, specifically designed for electrical applications. With a
Class B thermal stability rating, it offers excellent mechanical
and dielectric properties. This material is widely used in
electrical and electronic fields for fabricating insulating
components and structural parts in equipment. It is also suitable
for use in demanding environments, including high humidity and
transformer oil.
Advantages:
- Excellent Dielectric Strength: High electric strength perpendicular to laminations ( ≥14.2 kV/mm
at 90°C in oil, 1 mm in thickness), ensuring reliable insulation
protection and effective resistance to breakdown, even under
demanding conditions.
- Stable Dielectric Properties: A low relative permittivity (≤5.5 at 50Hz), which helps minimize
dielectric losses in equipment and contributes to enhanced
operational efficiency and stability.
- Dense and Robust Structure: High material density (≥1.8 g/cm³) provides superior mechanical
durability and strength, making it suitable for demanding
applications that require long service life.
- Superior Surface Quality: The smooth and virtually defect-free surface ensures ease of
installation, prevents performance issues such as partial
discharges caused by surface imperfections, and guarantees
consistent product quality.
