What is Brown's Gas?

Brown's Gas is a gaseous blend comprising hydrogen and oxygen. It's frequently likened to hydrogen therapy since both involve the presence of hydrogen. However, Brown's Gas stands out due to its significantly higher proportion of hydrogen (66%) in contrast to oxygen (33%). Additionally, this gas goes by the name HHO, or Hydroxy Gas.

How was it discovered?

The gas known as "Brown's Gas" was initially developed by a Bulgarian - born engineer, Ilya Velbov. Upon relocating to Australia, he adopted the name Yull Brown, and it is from this name that the gas derives its moniker. Over the span of three decades, he dedicated his efforts to studying water electrolysis, the very method employed to produce Brown's Gas.

How is it made?
The process starts with water electrolysis, which separates water (H₂O) into its two main parts: hydrogen and oxygen. Here's how it works:

1.Electrolyzer setup: A special machine called an electrolyzer is used. It has two electrodes (a positive and a negative one) placed in a solution of water mixed with a catalyst (like baking soda or potassium hydroxide).

2.Electric current: When electricity flows through the solution, hydrogen bubbles form at the negative electrode (cathode), and oxygen bubbles form at the positive electrode (anode).

3.Separation: A membrane (like a thin plastic sheet) keeps the hydrogen and oxygen gases separate. This allows them to mix in a specific ratio (2:1 hydrogen to oxygen) to create Brown's Gas.

This device features three channels, with hydrogen output at 2000ml/min and oxygen output at 1000ml/min (the ratio varies with different flow rates, hydrogen: oxygen = 2:1). Employing PEM technology, it achieves 99.992% high purity, free from chlorine and ozone.
