• Function

AC System Core Component: The condenser is part of the AC system’s refrigeration cycle. It works in conjunction with the compressor, evaporator, and receiver drier to maintain cabin comfort by removing heat from the refrigerant gas. After the compressor pressurizes the refrigerant, the condenser dissipates this heat, converting the gas into a high-pressure liquid.

1 Cooling Mechanism: As hot refrigerant gas flows through the condenser’s fins and tubes, ambient air (via the radiator fan) cools it, enabling phase transition and heat rejection.

2 Pressure Regulation: Ensures optimal refrigerant pressure for the expansion valve, which controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator.
