Standard

NF P92-505: French standard, titled "Safety against fire - Building materials - Reaction to fire tests - Test used for thermal melting materials - Dripping test". This standard applies to hot-melt materials and tests whether they produce burning dripping or non-burning dripping under the action of a thermal radiation source.

EU 95/28/EC: EU directive on the combustion performance of vehicle interior materials. The dripping test method of NF P92-505 is cited to evaluate the fire safety of automotive interior materials.

ECE R118 Annex 7: The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) regulatory annex on the combustion behavior of motor vehicle interior materials explicitly requires the use of the dripping test method of NF P92-505 to test the dripping performance of hot-melt materials.
