Lanthanum nitrate is a white powder, soluble in acid, insoluble in water, easy to absorb carbon dioxide in the air. The production process of lanthanum hydroxide is characterized by the reaction of lanthanum oxide and water. The product is dried, and the best amount of water is 5 times of the weight of lanthanum oxide.

【Application】

1.It is resistant to many reactive molten metals such as titanium or uranium.

2.For producing of multilayer ceramic capacitors, Lanthanum fluoride is also employed as a dopant to reduce the Curie temperature of the barium titanate substrate due to its special properties.
