Titanium Grades:
There are over 38 grades of titanium recognized by ASTM B338 and ASME B338 standards. Common grades for pressurized service include Gr1, Gr2, Gr3, Gr7, Gr9, Gr11, Gr12, Gr16, Gr17, Gr26 (TiRU-26TM), and Gr27 (TiRU-27TM).

Among them, Grade 2 titanium is the most commonly used for power plant surface condensers due to its ideal combination of strength, corrosion resistance, and formability.

Titanium alloy grades such as Ti-3Al-2.5V (Gr9) and Ti-6Al-4V (Gr5) are also widely used for high-performance tubing applications.
