Features of 100% Polyester Round Drawstring Cord With Rubber Coated Metal Tips
A drawstring cord is a string, rope or lace used to "pull" (gather or shorten) fabric or other material. The ends of a drawstring are often finished with a sleeve called an aglet. The ends can be tied to hold the drawstring in place (while closing an opening). Alternatively, a cordlock can be used to keep the drawstring in place. Typically, the drawstring is left loose when not in use and tightened when needed during use.
A drawstring may be threaded through a hem or casing (a continuous
tube of material), or threaded through holes which may be lined
with eyelets. A shoelace is a drawstring. It may also be laced
through loops attached to the material, such as belt loops. A belt
is usually a flat drawstring.
