This can involve various methods, including in-circuit testing (ICT), functional testing, or boundary scan testing, to ensure that the assembled circuit operates as intended. Testing involves applying input signals and checking the output response to verify the proper functioning of the circuit.

Rework and Repair: If any defects or issues are identified during inspection or testing, rework or repair may be necessary. This involves correcting the identified issues, such as re-soldering components, replacing faulty components, or addressing any manufacturing defects. Rework ensures that the assembly meets the required quality standards.

Finalization: Once the assembly passes inspection, testing, and any necessary rework, it is considered ready for further integration or deployment. The assembled PCB may undergo additional processes like conformal coating, where a protective coating is applied to safeguard against environmental factors such as moisture, dust, or corrosion.
