What is ABS:

ABS is an excellent 3D printer filament due to its strong strength and temperature resistance.

ABS, short for Acylonitrie Butadiene Styrene, is a multipurpose 3D printer filament commonly used in 3D printing. ABS’s heat and solvent resistance properties makes it an ideal mataerial as a 3D printer filament. ABS is also the material used in Lego bricks. Products made by ABS 3D printer filament are durable and resist a wide range of temperatures. ABS products are also more flexible than PLA products. ABS 3D printer filament is better to be used with a heated surface because ABS contracts when cooled.

ABS is dissolvable in acetone, so acetone is sometimes used to smooth surface of a 3D printing object made from ABS filament.
