Advantage:
• Better stock removal rate than burrs with a conventional cross cut.
• Significantly Saves money and time through its very high stock removal rate on key materials.
• Comfortable working with reduced vibration and less noise.
Materials that can be worked:
• Steel, cast steel
• Stainless steel (INOX)
• Non-ferrous metals
• Cast iron
Applications:
• Milling outLevelling
• Deburring
• Cutting out holesSurface workWork on weld seams
Notes
• It may be necessary to adjust the rates shown to achieve optimum performance.
• Harder materials require slower speeds.
• Smaller burs require faster speeds.
• Extra long burs (>150mm long) require slower speeds.
• Apply constant movement and light pressure when in use.
• Running below the optimum speed will encourage chipping.
• Running above optimum speed will cause tooth wear.
• Allowing the tool to become too hot may cause the braze to melt and detach the head from the shank.
• Using tools and collets that have become worn will encourage chipping.
• Do not sink the bur for more than one third of its periphery.
• Non-ferrous metals.
