ASTM D3638-92 Low Voltage Tracking Index Tester Flammability Testing Equipment

Description:

ASTM D3638-92 low voltage tracking tester simulates wet/moisture condition, test tracking index(CTI)

and anti tracking index(PTI). It is used for electrical electronic products, solid insulating materials of

household electrical appliance and other products.

Test method:

On the surface of solid insulate material, at the ruled 2mmx5mm platinum electrode, exert a certain

voltage and set 30s time, drip the ruled drop volume(0.1%NH 4CL) at 35 mm height, then evaluate solid

insulation material surface under combined electric field and medium pollution tolerance ability,

determine its tracking index(CTI) and anti tracking index(PTI).

Test standard:

IEC60112:2003, UL746A,ASTM D 3638-92,DIN 53480, GB4706.1, GB4207 and other equivalent test

standard.
