ZTF-3 Forming Technique:
Only one set of roller is needed to produce all round pipe range from Φ273mm to Φ508mm during breakdown section (section before closure roll stands, weight around 60% of the entire mill rollers). When producing different sized pipe, only change rollers during fin pass section (section after closure rolls), therefore saving significant roller cost and increase productivity. The 3rd generation ZTF technique (ZTF-3) allows full automatic adjustment of roller position during break-down section with minimum to none need of manual adjustment, reducing labor maintenance cost and risk of hazard.
