Description:

JIS F2016 casting steel pawl type chain stopper is designed to be applicable to U2 and 3 anchor chains. Pawl type chain stopper is installed between the windlass and hawsepipe in order to clamp the anchor chain when ship sails. The windlass breaking hold capacity is 45% of the anchor chain breaking force with installation of anchor chain stopper. While it is 80% without chain stopper. It proves that the chain stopper shared big force of the windlass and well protect this main deck machinery.
