How Ultrasonic Welding Machine Works:

When the ultrasonic wave actions on the thermoplastic plastic contact surface, the ultrasonic wave will produce tens of thousands of high-frequency vibrations per second, the high-frequency vibrations which reach a certain amplitude will transfer the ultrasonic energy to the welding area through the welding head of the ultrasonic welding machine. Due to the high acoustic resistance of the welding zone, the junction of two welds, local high temperature will occur. And because of the poor thermal conductivity of plastic, high temperature can not be timely distributed, gathered in the welding area, resulting in the rapid melting of the two plastic contact surface, plus a certain pressure, so that makes them into one. When the ultrasonic wave stops, let the pressure continue for a few seconds so that it solidifies, a strong molecular chain is formed, achieve the purpose of welding, welding strength can be close to the strength of the raw material. The quality of ultrasonic plastic welding depends on the amplitude of the transducer welding head, pressure, and welding time. So different applications will have different welding schemes depending on your product's requirements.
