Description Of GLC-BX80-U Compatible Cisco Ethernet Transceiver

The Cisco GLC-BX80-U compatible Ethernet transceiver provides 1000Base-BX throughput up to 80km link length over single-mode fiber (SMF) using a wavelength of 1490nmTx/1570nmRx via LC simplex connectors.

This Cisco Ethernet Transceiver is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3 1000BASE-BX80 and SERDES standard, SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment.

The Cisco GLC-BX80-U compatible Ethernet transceiver module is tested to be compatible with Cisco networking equipment including Ethernet Switches, Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Ethernet Media Converters.

The SFP transceiver is an ideal equivalent to the Cisco OEM GLC-BX80-U SFP Ethernet module but with a more cost-effective price.
