The transducer of ultrasonic welding machine is a device which converts electric energy into mechanical energy (ultrasonic). The most mature and reliable device is piezoelectric effect, which realizes the mutual conversion of electric energy and acoustic energy. It is called piezoelectric transducer. It consists of a central piezoelectric ceramic element, front and rear metal covers, a prestressing screw, an electrode sheet and an insulating tube.

This kind of sandwich transducer (bolted transducer) generates stable ultrasonic wave when the load changes, which is the most basic and main method to obtain power ultrasonic driving source. According to different designs, their main forms are column type (NTK type or Taiwan type or Japanese type, the diameter of front and rear metal cover is the same), inverted horn type (Bineng type, front cover diameter is excessively reduced by arc type), column steel back cover (Jinlong type), column type with section in the middle (Jinghua type).
