Primer For Cold Applied Tape , Butyl Rubber Single Part Anti Corrosive Primer

DQ series of primer for cold applied tape is is made up of butyl rubber, unsaponifiable resins, tackifier, stabilizer, and solvent.The primer is applied to the appropriately prepared pipe surface before application of anti corrosion tape. It is used for improving sealing and between the anti corrosion tape and the steel pipeline. Primer can be applied by hand brush or machine. Hand application app. 0.2 litre/m2 pipe surface. Machine application: app. 0.15 litre/m2 pipe surface. Similar to Polyken liquid adhesive systems P19, P27 Primer are flammable mixtures.
