CD-series elevators are the important tools for hanging drill rods, casing pipes, drill
collarless and for oil pipes elevation and descend in the works of well drilling, exploration or repairing by the petroleum drilling and geologic at prospecting departments. Before using the products, please read carefully “instruction manual”.
“CD” series elevators are of reasonable designs, easy operation, safety and reliability, quality mentality materials and are manufactured by the adoption of advanced science and technologies and specially heat – treated with strong tenacity. They have undergone the strict test and non – damage inspections, which ensures they have the advantageous structural strength and wear – re – sizing properties. It is fit for elevating hanging drill rods from 2.3/8 ′′~5.1/2′′,casing pipes from 4.1/2′′~30′′,drill collar of diameter From 4.1/8′′~11.1/4′′ and oil pipe from 2.3/8′′~4′′.The max load are of two series 360kN(40t),585kN(65t), 675kN(75t),900kN(100t),1125kN(125t),1350kN(150t),1800kN(200t),2250kN (250t),2700kN(300t),3150kN(350t).
All the technical parameters and properties of the “CD” series elevators are in conformity with the requirements SY5035 and API Spec 8C.
The CD – series side door elevator, is mainly composed of the body, valve and other parts. Valve are connected with the body by valve axle and role around the valve axle, Which has the function of opening and closing the elevator. When the valve close the are automatically yoked tight with the body through the upper and lower lock pegs. Press down the handle of lock peg and pull outward, the valve will open. On the top the body is fixed
with the dual safety block iron due to which the valve cannot open or close when the elevator is been lifting. Only when there is no block iron on the load – bearing surface of the body, can the valve be opened freely for safely protection.
For the safety of lowering the steel tubes. Each elevator has a pair of safety pegs. Place the elevator links links the ear bores of two sides of the body and insert the safety pegs to prevent the elevator links off to ensure the safety of elevating.
