1. General requirements

3. For the purpose of anti-tampering of the setting of the "set speed" of a speed limiter device, the connection points on a speed limiter device for adjustment of "set speed" shall be properly sealed and protected from unauthorized adjustment.
4. The speed limiter function shall be obtained once the vehicle speed reaches the set maximum speed regardless of the position action on the accelerator a driver may apply.
5. The road speed limiting device shall have in built features that allow functionality checks and shall have special inspection devices for this purpose to facilitate the checking when the vehicle is not in motion.
6. The device should provide functional check facility by which the set speed and functioning can be checked by the field and other concerned authorities.
