Multi-pulse method greatly simplifies the fault waveform measured in the field and turns the complex high-voltage shock flashover waveform into the short-circuit fault waveform similar to low-voltage pulse method which is very easy to read, which reduce the technical requirements and experience requirements for operators. Therefore, the judgment accuracy of field fault is greatly improved. Anyone can easily and accurately interpret waveforms and calibrate fault distance, so as to quickly and accurately test cable faults and greatly improve the success rate of fault testing, better than all traditional cable instrument and comparable with similar products abroad.
