What is the testing procedure to power connector?
1. Preparing the probe and make it meet the standard, forbid to use copper wire to detect, in prevent to enlarge the port hole of the connector or damage the inner wall of port or in case to crook the pin of connector.
2. Before the testing, should to check if the header and socket of power connector in equipment isn’t available, once the outlook is damaged, the pin has corroded, or the shape of port hole has changed, or has contaminated by dust, the guide line is cracked, or fracture of wire,please stop.
3. the operation of plug and pull to power connector when in testing , which should be proceeded behind the power cut off and static time more than 3 minutes, do not support hot plugging.
4. After finish the test for model and electricity performance of products, if need the power connector keep long term contact, it must be made insurance according to the standard of design and technology documents, and could not loosing the lock device of power connector when make the insurance.
