Basic principle:

Under the influence of moisture and impurities in electrical products, between different polarity live parts or between live parts and grounded metal may cause leakage on the insulation. The generated arc will cause electrical short circuit or discharge due to electrical discharge. The material is electrically corroded and even ignites causing a fire.

Leakage tracking test is a destructive test that simulates the above situation on insulating materials. Technical parameters:
