1.4362 Stainless Steel Seamless pipe and tube Factory

1.4362 is a low-carbon high-alloy stainless steel. Because its nickel content in the composition is less than 4%, the steel grade contains a ferrite-austenitic structure, so it is called duplex stainless steel.

In the corrosion resistance of stainless steel, elemental chromium and molybdenum usually play a major role, and nickel does not play a major role. The function of nickel is mainly to make manganese and copper combine to form austenite crystals at room temperature, so nickel plays a more important role in steel sheet forming than corrosion resistance. Since 1.4362 stainless steel has a higher CR content than 316L and no molybdenum, its corrosion resistance is comparable to that of 316L. However, it has higher corrosion resistance than 304.
