ASTM A106 Cold Rolled Seamless Tube Carbon Steel Material Anti Corresive
Cold drawn mill is used for producing small size pipe. There are
several times of cold forming process, so yield strength and
tensile strength values increase, while elongation and toughness
values decrease. A heat treatment must to be applied for each cold
forming operation.
Comparing hot rolled pipe, cold drawn pipe maintains precise
dimension, smooth surface and shining appearance.
1. Standards
ASME SA106 —— American Boiler and Pressure Vessel norms
ASME SA333 —— American Boiler and Pressure Vessel norms
ASME SA335 —— American Boiler and Pressure Vessel norms
DIN17175 —— German industry standards
EN10216-2 —— European pressure piping standards
2. Application
For the low and medium pressure boiler and steam header pipes; for the high-pressure boiler and steam pipes, and the petrochemical industry pipes.
